Vita

From 1993 until 1999, Felix studied Japanese and Linguistics in Berlin, Nagoya (Japan) and Tokyo. He then finished his PhD about XML and RDF based linguist modeling at the University of Bielefeld (Germany). His major workplaces include the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the DFKI (German research center for artificial intelligence), the educational publisher Cornelsen and the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences. In October 2021, he joined SAP to work on in the realm of AI knowledge graphs and semantic technologies.

Since 2009, the Leipzig Semantic Web Day (LSWT) is an opportunity for scientists, enterprises, and organisations to discuss topics in the field of Semantic Technology. This year, LSWT will again be co-located with the second Data Week Leipzig, a one-week event in Leipzig focusing on data, digitization, artificial intelligence, and urban development challenges.

During the LSWT, we will emphasize recent developments and trends in the fields of semantic technologies and data. Main points this year shall be knowledge graphs, e-government, geodata, temporal data, ESG, mobility, interlinked society, data integration, semantic web in industry, and artificial intelligence. These emphases are demonstrated in presentations by experts from industry and science.

If you have any further questions don’t hesitate to contact the organisation team.

Dear colleagues,

We are also hosting an interactive poster session with student works. Each student, or group of students, must come to the event with a printed poster about their actual work. They will be giving a brief presentation and will have to be ready to introduce their poster to interested participants during the breaks. At the end of the day, a poster award ceremony (sponsored by eccenca GmbH) with a monetary price will take place. Posters will be rated according to the following criteria: best content and best design. Below further information about the specifications:

If you are interested, please have a talk with your professor. They will provide you further information about travel expenses and registration. You can also contact us at lswt@infai.org.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Leipzig.
